We had a wonderful last week of vacation to round out the end of summer. 10 days on the beach! EVERY single day was sunny. Can’t beat that. So it was back to school for us this week and I loved seeing all the first day of school photos on social media! It also started the carpool to sports and not even all sports have started yet for my two! Deep breaths….we will be in a routine in no time. I hope we get to get a breather this weekend and enjoy the summer weather, as remember summer technically is not over yet, so enjoy!

This week we got to sample CLAMS! Yes it’s summer and one of our favorite treats are stuffed clams. The folks at Matlaw’ssent us some of their unique combination of stuffed clams including their Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Clams, Chorizo Stuffed Clams and Chili Lime Stuffed Clams. All were so yummy. They are served in a natural clamshell and Matlaw’s stuffed clams are the #1 frozen seafood appetizer in the U.S. If you are having a get together this summer check them out. My kids tasted them and said they were great!
If you have not heard of Matlaw’s they are one of the most popular and long-standing names in seafood. They also sell New England Style Stuffed Scallops, Frozen Cod Fillets, Flounder Fillets, Tilapia Fillets, Salmon Fillets, Pollock Fillets – and Crispy Original, Barbecue and Coconut Popcorn Shrimp.

I have been waiting a while for this family fun activity! Bowling and dinner at Kings! Kings is a full service restaurant, bowling alley, and entertainment facility located at MarketStreet in Lynnfield. They are also known as a classy bowling joint! They also have a location in Boston in the back bay on Dalton Street. They have 16 Ten-Pin bowling lanes and you can also enjoy HDTV’s and projector screens. The food is really good too! This is a great family friendly activity that is so much fun. It is also the perfect location for birthday celebrations. They also have a schedule of fun activities each day of the week. What is the best thing to do on a nice summer night? Watch a soccer game! We had the opportunity to head to Gillette to watch the New England Revolutionmatch! My teen has been playing soccer since kindergarten and my 10 year old has as well. We love soccer. It was quite an experience to head to Gillette stadium if you have never been and the fan excitement over soccer when you arrive is so much fun to see. We were lucky to have VIP Field Passes to watch the warm-ups up close and then we headed to the East Club premium seats which was quite nice. We each received our @Krowe201 bobble head! My kids love to collect bobble heads of athletes. Food and snacks were everywhere so you can enjoy beverages, dinner and even ice cream. There was an ice cream sundae making station as well as a nacho station in the Club! This is the best way to enjoy the game with the kids. Overall it was a great experience and a fun time!
